Planning for better health
The strategic and policy frame work reform area aims to positively influence the way state governments plan for and monitor their health initiatives. It works to ensure that governments have the required expertise to carry out planned reforms. Some activities include -
- Develop annual state and district health action plans linked with the budget of the Department of Health and Family Welfare
- Strengthen the way states monitor health strategies
- Ensure the Department of Health and Family welfare in each state has the skills and capabilities to carry out health reforms
